It is difficult to imagine circumstances less conducive to fundraising than a state of emergency, a curfew, widespread economic shutdown and recession.
But the fact is, children are still dying from cancer, and we need to be there for them. That is why, in the face of so many obstacles, we pressed on with this event.
The Million Dollar Lunch Giving Day, raised $569,254.
We are incredibly grateful for this result. While it is well short of the seven figure sums we are accustomed to seeing from The Million Dollar Lunch, in these circumstances it is a truly outstanding achievement.
