Margaret has a wealth of experience as a CEO and public sector leader, coupled with a personal connection to cancer. During her time as CEO of Monash University’s McKinnon Institute for Political Leadership, Margaret successfully guided a small yet dynamic organisation from start-up to great success, establishing a national footprint within a complex stakeholder and funding environment.

She has also gained valuable experience in the university sector, hospital administration, and has dedicated her time as a volunteer Ambassador for Bowel Cancer Australia. Margaret has a longstanding commitment to not-for-profit boards, including as chair of the board of the Royal Women’s Hospital.
