KCM Trade’s day on the green raises over $8,500 for children’s cancer research.

On Friday 24th May the Medway Golf Club in Melbourne’s north-west, hosted the annual Medway Corporate Cup, marking a significant day in their golfing calendar.

KCM Trade, a long-term partner and sponsor of the club not only participated in the golf tournament and evening banquet, but also took on a role as one of the major sponsors for the event. Teaming up with Medway Golf Club, KCM Trade raised an impressive sum of over $8,500 for the Children’s Cancer Foundation.

The event was well attended with 88 players forming 22 strong teams, for a day filled with unforgettable golfing moments.

Following the golfing action, an evening banquet was hosted by Rachael Jones of KCM Trade, where guests also had the chance to listen to Renee Jess, Fundraising Director of the Children’s Cancer Foundation, speak about the Foundations crucial work in the fight against childhood cancer.

The evenings live auction was conducted by Fabin Rosin, a member of Medway Golf Course, who also bravely shared his family’s own experience with childhood cancer. The Rosin family sadly losing their beautiful son Marcus to ependymoma brain cancer in May 2014, at only nine years of age.

Tim Waterer, the Chief Analyst of KCM Trade, delivered a compelling speech highlighting the significance of the event for his company.

“We strive to support the community and focus on vulnerable groups in various ways”.
